MCF3M – Grade 11 Functions & Applications

Grade 11 Online Mathematics – Ontario Curriculum

Course Code: MCF3M Grade 11 University / College Pathway
Prerequisite: MTH1W or MFM2P · Hours: 110

Course Overview

MCF3M builds on students’ knowledge of linear and quadratic relations and introduces exponential functions, financial applications, and trigonometric concepts. The course emphasizes real-world modelling and applied mathematical reasoning.

This course prepares students for Grade 12 Mathematics for College (MAP4C) or Grade 12 Mathematics for Work & Everyday Life (MEL4E), and provides the algebraic foundation needed for college business, health, and technology programs.
