  • Strong background in mathematics, physics, and computing, with a focus on problem-solving and logical reasoning.
  • Experience supporting a wide range of learners, including high-achieving students, students who need confidence-building, and those preparing for university programs.

Teaching Philosophy

Every student is capable of understanding mathematics when concepts are broken down clearly and taught in a structured way. Lessons at MEVA are designed to:

  • Start from what the student already knows and build step-by-step to more advanced topics.
  • Emphasize understanding why a method works, not just memorizing formulas.
  • Use plenty of worked examples and guided practice before independent work.
  • Encourage questions, reflection, and a growth mindset toward mistakes.

The goal is not only to help students achieve strong marks, but also to develop the habits and thinking skills they will need in university, college, and future careers.

How MEVA Supports Students

  • Clear weekly schedules and expectations so students know exactly what to work on.
  • Recorded explanations, step-by-step notes, and structured practice sets for each unit.
  • Regular feedback on assignments, quizzes, and tests so students can see their progress.
  • Support with study skills: how to take math notes, prepare for tests, and manage workload.
  • Communication with families about progress, strengths, and areas that need attention.
