Fee, Payment & Refund Policy
MEVA – Math E-Learning Virtual Academy
1. Overview
This policy sets out expectations for course fees, payment schedules, and refunds for MEVA programs.
2. Fee Structure
MEVA fees may be charged per course, per term, or per block of tutoring hours. Current fee schedules are communicated directly to families.
3. Payment Methods
Payments may be made by e-transfer or other agreed-upon methods. Payment instructions are provided at the time of registration.
4. Payment Schedule
Unless otherwise arranged, payment is typically due:
- Before the start of a course, or
- At the beginning of a billing period for tutoring blocks.
5. Missed or Late Payments
If payments are missed or significantly delayed, MEVA may pause instruction until the account is brought up to date. MEVA will communicate with the family before any pause occurs.
6. Withdrawal & Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, depend on:
- The portion of the course completed
- The amount of notice provided by the family
- Any non-refundable registration or administrative fees
Specific refund arrangements should be confirmed in writing at the time of registration.
7. Cancellations by MEVA
If MEVA must cancel a session or course, reasonable efforts will be made to:
- Reschedule the missed time, or
- Provide an appropriate credit or refund
